Upgrades to Pool Lighting.
Our pool is important to our swim team, students, seniors, and all of its users of all ages and abilities. We are rolling our the first phase of our pool re-opening plan, so we hope to see you soon!
Our Town Loves Baseball, especially our Kids!
We were very happy to install new dugouts at Oaklee’s Baseball Field this Term, as well as complete Oaklee Feild Clubhouse upgrades.
Increased Safety For our Kids, and all Citizens.
We heard time and time again that speeding was an issue on MacQuarrie Extension, which is especially dangerous because it is where our citizens (especially our youngest ones) cross the street to get to the Port Hawkesbury Community Park. This raised sidewalk will both reduce speed as well as increase the visibility of pedestrians.

Paint Refresh for our former Rink
It goes a long way to clean up the look of this high-traffic area, as citizens are accessing the park, trails, pump track and more.
New Sidewalk Tractor
This purchase allows us to do a much better and more efficient job for snow clearing.
Replacement Aerial Truck.
The old Aerial Truck was due for replacement for many years, however, funding has always been an issue. We are very glad we were able to replace the old ladder truck for the members of the Port Hawkesbury Volunteer Fire Department who serves and protects the citizens of the Town of Port Hawkesbury.
